[/font]The year is 2008 and the place is Xavier Heights. Mortals have been told to stay away. No mortal has entered the place and lived to tell the tale. A magical barrier has been up around the town for centuries until the war of the original Charmed Ones and the feared Triad ended. The barrier was broken but mortals have since been afraid to enter. Now the demon descendants, the angels, the Lights and the Charmed bloodline live with each other and try to treat each other as equals. Of course, there is still a hierarchy.the elite,
The elites are direct descendants of the pioneers of Xavier Heights. They are known all around the magical community as the high class beings. They are born to pureblooded magical bloodlines. Their powers are high class above all else.the untouchable,
The untouchables are descendants of the next generation to inhabit Xavier Heights. Their ancestors were then considered 'traitors of their kind' because they fled the war that raged between the good and the evil. At present, they are regarded high class as well.the supreme,
The supremes are the third generation inhabitants of Xavier Heights. They are the descendants of the survivors of the Charmed-Triad war. Their ancestors were migrants of Xavier Heights.the regal,
The regals are new generation beings to live in Xavier Heights. They are descendants of Demons, Angels, Lights and Charmed Ones who were married to mortals. They are considered regal because they are unique, being part of a half-magical half-mortal family tree. They are also migrants of Xavier Heights.
In Xavier Heights, your magical class determines the powers you possess. For the past centuries, it also determined who you are and who your foes are. At present day, it's just any other classification. Being a demon doesn't mean you're bad as much as being an angel doesn't mean you're good. The magical classes only determine what you have, not whose side you're on.
Like the present day cliques, it's a hierarchy.
charmed ones;
The Charmed Ones are considered royal, high class, top of the bunch. With their topnotch powers and being direct descendants of the Power of Three that defeated the Triad, they are considered to be the best of the best.
angels;
The Angels are considered moral guardians. Or their ancestors, that is. They have the Lights' and the Charmed Ones' best interests at heart. They give advice and are directly under the High Beings. They share one common power, that is being Vitakinesis. While they cannot heal themselves, they can heal other beings.
lights;
The Lights' ancestors fought the Triad side by side with the Charmed Ones. They are the descendants of the good witches and warlocks. They are not considered, however, royal or upper class as the Charmed Ones. They were considered mere aids to the Power of Three. They envy the Charmed Ones and usually get along with the Demons and the Angels.
demons;
The Demons are descendants of the Triad's fellows. Their ancestors were aids to the Triads or else colleagues. They all have an evil streak which they can control, either suppressing it or releasing it. The half-mortal demons have greater control over their evil streaks because they can suppress it in its entirety, sometimes even permanently. They look like normal human beings.
This is how the magical community thrives: they stay away from beings that are not their kind and they don't mind anyone else's business. This has worked for the past century. The balance between good and evil is finally achieved. But, will anyone make an attempt to tip the scales?
