It was a wet and windy day outside the Institute that prompted Savannah Bennett to withdraw downstairs to the private section devoted to those few students, and adults, chosen to be a part of the X-Men organisation. Now Anna had been inducted a few days after she joined the Institute because the Professor had seen it apparently as a way of controlling her and her ability so that it didn't run riot. Give her something to do and she won't be tempted to go and blow up the sun or whatever else he had considered she might consider if she were bored. Savannah scoffed at this thought. Because she could build mental blockades and prevent anyone entering her mind unless she allowed it the Professor had no clue just how well she had Nightscream locked away. The only time her brain was truly open was when they wired her to the machines in the lab and kept her sedated so her subconcious mind, and defensive nature, wouldn't fight the intrudence.
Her feet led her easily to the danger room and she keyed in her personal passcode to be allowed admittance. Hers was something that no one would even consider linking with her baring in mind her personality and the way that she viewed the world. It had been chosen in a moment of irony when she was feeling sad about leaving home, or more to the point having no home. Her parents were both dead, her sister was human therefore did not want to be seen with a mutant and she had no other relations to speak of. There would be nobody to miss her if she died here and that thought alone was something that comforted her. Sure Bolt and Desire would have a hard time getting used to her not being around but they'd get over it in a few weeks. There were so many beautiful girls at the Institute, they'd be distracted plenty easy enough.
Zipping herself into her X-suit, which for her was weaved with a bright bright white she entered into the danger room and began to concentrate. The simulation it created was barely anything, merely a chair in the middle so she could sit down as she attempted what she was trying to conquer that day. With the ability to manipulate atoms it gave her the chance to pretty much do anything she put her mind to, and this day she was going to generate some heat, in fact she was going to generate lots of heat. Taking her time she set her atoms to fire, and began to increase the temperature as flame flicked from her and around her. But instead of stopping she just kept going and before she knew it she was reaching the heat of the sun, and it was then that the sprinklers came on. Much to the amusment of the other soul that had walked in mid practice...
